Monitor Loudspeakers plus Amp

Hey all,
Today i got some prety kool JBL Control 1xTreme Monitors... Not plugged in and tried out yet but i wanna kno wut u think.. Are they a good set of monitors...?
Also, im getting a Yamaha Amp for them (the AX-396), so wut do u think of them as well...?
I just wanna kno if the money has been spent well and also wut ur honest opinions are about them...?
I hope they will make my music much better aswell ;)
