What's up guys! I broke my camera, so I'm gonna buy a new one. What's a camera with good audio? So that when I go to events I can record samples?

Thanks!

Any of the Elph series by Canon are pretty decent. I have an S410 and its done pretty decent with recording stuff for shows.

All the vids on my youtube page are taken with it:

granted once you get in an extremely loud area (right in front of the main speakers or next to the monitors) it gets distorted but for a point and shoot camera, it does a great job.

Woody go with the Casio they are slim and record real good you know what go to Costco buy one and try it out see if you like it if not return it ohh and the warranty is great.

Woody, if you want a camera that can with stand the club audio system and not sound distorted. The Panasonics are the only ones...
Panasonic $240.00

Other wise the Canon SD1000 is like $169 right now, which is amazing!

$168 Shipped - Butterfly Photo

Ive never had any issues with and of the Sony DV series cameras. The sound quality is pretty clear.

But I know there are other cams out there built for low light and stuff that are way better picturewise.
rizo
canon sd870is! i took this at high res mode but scaled it down for flash

low res (perfect for youtube) from this past saturday at daft punk: http://nextlevel.ws/rizo/071027/target68.html

everything i have heard, in a club or massive the bass is always distorted and sounds like crap, especially if your close. The Panasonics don't do that.

I love Canons. And Rizo just convinced me. All my cameras were Canons. The one that broked was an SD550. I can get it fixed for $150 @ Canon in Irvine, but for $100 I can get the one Rizo has... hmmm
