this lady walks into my shop today with her kids. naturally, i asked her about her kids' costumes and she said that they don't celebrate it. what a en whore. i lost all respect for that bitch. what kind of parent doesn't do Halloween. it's almost tantamount to child abuse.

i don't think i can look at her the same way ever again. it's always going to be in the back of my mind.

I woulda slipped the kids some candy under the table and tell them their mom is a filthy ****, with a pat on the head.

you can't buy halloween costumes with food stamps

i went to an american elementary school as a kid, and watched mostly north american TV. i remember watching those s on saved by the bell, and on family matters and the fresh prince and dress up and act like retards for a day. i always wanted to go trick or treating. here we have lame ripoff halloween parties now and then, but without free candy, whats the point?

Samhainn is indeed a vital tradition you were right to uphold it!

Devout Christians and conservative Muslims forbid it. There's a mosque in Toronto (Mississauga) that expressly forbids it, as un-islamic. It also forbids being invided to thankgiving turkey and forbids greeting people for any other religion's holidays.

halloween is the best, especially when the sluts dress up even sluttier

today on the train before the Halloween parade, i saw so many of them, they were all sitting down and i was standing for a good reason as you look down you pretty much can see everything they have to offer

the only awkward part was that my mom was on the train with me

We got to wear costumes to parties and whatnot but no knocking on strangers doors...

I also never believed in Santa and the Easter Bunny.

^ which is quite funny because just like Christmas (look it's Coca-Cola Claus!) or easter it has nothing to do with religious anymore.
