try playing what you like to play...and try to make the songs work..that's what I do...I don't rely on beat matching programs..if I have to put a new song at negative 6 to match tempo then that's what I do but no one is paying me to play their songs either...if so..I'd have to fiX THAT.

Yeah, but doesn't that PROG only match the last two bars of the song?

ummm, no. Try moving around the bars on the end of the songs and that kind of thing or better yet, watch the included video tutorials. You can change where the song begins, where it ends, EQs and volume adjustments, its pretty versatile really.

The two bars mixing is the default standard corssfade that by default all transitions are set to, you then have to go and change them.

Ohhhh my bad... I only knew what I knew because a friend had the demo version but that is probably why the settings where like that..thanx for letting me know...I'm going laptop soon...Vinyl is almost completely DEAD and will soon be a lost art form for Dj's. I used to operate a vinyl shop on eBay and made good money until it started fading with the CD Dj's being born...now..everyone is using laptops for the most part but not too many people use it where i live...it kinda gets looked down upon. But in about 5 to 6 years vinyl might be dead again...only hardcore fans of it will still use it..I'm rambeling here...my bad

Don't say that too loud...it is the topic of a never ending debate.

I'm looking for a DJ program that can help me work out which song to play. I'm sometimes a bit stumped and it'd be nice to have a program that made choosing songs (and if it could choose effects for you too that'd be great) a bit easier.

what drug are you on?

I've checked this out and I really like the comments system. It just makes DJing so much easier and allows me to not have to think too hard. I'm just wondering... what does DJ Tiesto use? His technique is great in my opinion and I really love his sets. He's been an inspiration to me for me DJing wise.

i really hope you have your flame-retardant suit on

if you want to take the easy way out of djing.. maybe djing isnt for you, because after practice its not all that difficult that you need a program to tell you what to do... and tiesto doesnt use software for his trainwrecks, he trainwrecks on his own
