CD players are notorious for not having accurate beat counters. My CDJs will constantly tell me that a 130BPM track is playing at 90BPM, or 16x BPM.
I personally haven't used Axis 4s yet, so the only advise I can give is to match the tracks by ear and ignore the display for now. If you have to, you can get the BPM reading the old-fashioned way (count beats for 30 seconds, then double that number), and let your ears be the final judge on the mix. |
