Just thought I'd share some of the vids (unfortunately Yahoo compresses it like mad) from our visit to the Full on Ferry event in Ahoy in Rotterdam - it was a great show... I was told about 10K people can fit into Ahoy so this was a large event compared to KH.

review? hmm never thought of doing that lol... here goes:
Well Oct 27th started as a very long day... woke up at 6am in Berlin to catch a flight to Amsterdam and then train to Rotterdam. We didn't rest really but I was pretty excited to see Corsten - didn't know much about Ahoy in Rotterdam or the Full on Ferry event but saw Corsten in KH a few weeks earlier and really enjoyed that so was expecting the same. Night came... had a few drinks in the hostel w/ a couple cool people we met and then off to Ahoy. I was told there were no cameras allowed by hostel staff and if they found it they'd confiscate it but really really wanted to take my camera so I hid it. Got to Ahoy, security line-up... I was nervous... got padded down but he didn't find the camera. Then got inside and realized everyone had a camera lol!
The entrance before the main area had a bunch of stuff for sale like Corsten T-shirts, buttons, souvenirs etc and things like disposible cameras, a full health area w/ med staff, food stands etc. I was pretty impressed even before getting in.
Then entered the main area... wow... huge (KH has a capacity of ~2500 people vs Ahoy with 10000!)... got a few drinks and then made our way up to the front. Even w/ probably well over 6000 people (I'm guessing but probably more) there was lots of room to dance. Got to the front and I was amazed (look at the at the stage and the DJ platform was lifted and moved around pretty far into the crowd http://www.flickr.com/photos/815131...157602917306251). The music quality was great and not too loud that you could actual here someone talking to you. The crowd was really into it - guess that's to be expected given Rotterdam is Corsten's home town. There were so many good trax I was dancing pretty much all the time and when I got tired stopped to take pix / videos. These were some of the memorable things that night.
The only downside to the night was I was so damn tired by 5am (remember we were up 6am that morning!) and also a chick decided to throw her drink on a guy who bumped into her but hit me ): I think she tried to apologize but she was speaking Dutch and I just said it was ok (man I'm too forgiving lol).
