I watched this some time ago after some brief hesitation. At first glance I didn't take it very seriously because I didn't expect it to delve as deeply as it did. I was wrong and I'm glad that I was.
It touches upon concensus reality, institutionalized control, blind submission to authority, etc. It mentions early Gnosticism, Plato's Allegory of the Cave, René Descartes' "Cogito ergo sum", the nature of free will, etc.
I recommend it ;)
