I feel for Cox, watching that video, I could see he was really getting into his mixing and giving it 110% and he didn't even realise what had happend on the floor until like 2 minutes later I think someone told him then he like quickly hid under lol.
I'm glad nothing like that has happened yet and we don't have that gun culture. |

| who cares? not everyone wants to live in a bubble. people want to know (by watching videos, or whatever) whats going on in the world, whats the problem? no-ones making anyone watch something they dont want to watch. if people dont like watching the news cos its too ed up then read the paper (though i dont really see the difference) |

who's focusing? i watch the news and i see ppl killing eachother over a piece of land. im "focusing" on it? im adding to the violence? i thought i was just watching the news.
wrapping everyone in cotton wool isnt gonna stop any of the worlds problems, you live in a dreamworld if you think otherwise |

the good thing about the internet is that it gives you the option of seeing it: i personally did watch this, but i didn't watch the execution of hussein, for example because i thout it was unecessary to see. I wasn't forced to view it or anything, but i'm glad i could have if i'd wanted to... I like that i have all of the world's information available to myself, and then i can decide whether or not to use it :) |

Man we had this discussion on TT and you have the same viewpoint as Scott.
I'm with the others. Ignoring things will not make them go away. It's all well and good to adopt the mentality that if everyone focuses on positive things then the world will be a better place, but I don't agree with this enlightenment bull perpetuated from the East. It's wishful thinking and call me a pessimist but I would rather people know what's happening and try and prevent it than ignore it and hope everyone magically switches to a positive mindset. It's not going to happen.
It's like "The Secret". Focus on having $10K in your account in one year and in one year you will have $10K in your account. Hah, yea right. Wishful thinking. Most things like this are a scam. |
