Ever since I upgraded to 4.1, it seems as if my user interface is not as responsive as it used to be when performing certain actions such as:
- Editing MIDI Parts
- Recording audio
For example, when recording audio, the song position marker moves in chunks instead of moving smoothly. When editing a MIDI part, I can grab the end of a MIDI note to lengthen it and when I move my mouse to the right, it takes a second for the note to start dragging.
One possible reason may be that I recently upgraded my monitor, so I'm running at 1600 x 1050 resolution on a video card with only 128MB of RAM, so is it possible that this is just the older video card having trouble keeping up with the demands a larger monitor is placing on it? I have already upgraded to the latest video card drivers to no avail.
Has anyone else experience this problem? |
