Oh the sound is completely on point right now. Its really loud & clean. We did some "reshaping" in the main room & tuned the system. Could not believe my ears for Rank 1 & Stoneface & Terminal. |
Thanks Taj!! glad to hear about the sound system. I'll come and say HI so you can make the TA->real life connection. |

I hope the system sounds as good as last night did, tonight. I seriously haven't heard 1015 sound like that in awhile.
Everyone's in for a treat tonight!:D |

Ish, what happened to you? haha.
Definitely fun, Awsome set by Ismael and Taj. I went upstairs around 4:30ish, and Vahid and his counterpart were upstairs rockin it. Great crowd throughout each room, and the sound was on point in all rooms!
The bass is back to hitting so hard, that you can feel it in the booth again like in the old days, and when your out on the floor in the main, you can feel it!
I actually played a little over an hour upstairs, and most of the people in the crowd in the room went to endup afterwards. I met some very cool people up there, and hope again to share the night with Vahid sometime soon.
Dude with some new lighting over at Endup, It actually kinda looks like a mini mini 1015 with a outdoor patio kinda sorta. |

Oliver Moldan was awesome! very nice guy and i loved his style! very different form the usual headliner, thanks Taj! :D wish i was able to catch all of his set (and maybe even play a little longer -- sorry ish but you're always here, oliver isnt :p) but stopped by Regan (I never knew she DJ'd :wtf: ), Jay & Cyber JOes gig in the south bay first then while waiting outside 1015 i got distracted when someone starts humping my leg and i look down to see that its Karina! she told me "don't you recognise me with clothes on!" :stongue: she even got me a drink when we went inside
Nick from A&H recorded Olivers set and hope it gets released in the future.:whip: |

awesome night!
so i started off the evening absolutely miserable at a hip hop club, just trying to appease some old friends who all got together. ditched that only to find myself locked out of my car... so night was going bad. got to 1015 to catch second half of oliver's set. great to hear some new sounds in the main room like that. i could have walked away from the night perfectly happy just for that. and of course the tweaked/louder sound system definitely helped.
i was very glad to hear that ismael hadn't played yet. i needed my fix of psy-trance, and wow, i got it! :eyespop: OMFG!@# so much fun!! could have gone all night to that. i think tdizzle, mecca and i even created some new dance move.. us punching at the ground as if we were beating the sh*t out of some punk high school kid (yeah, wtf!? i dunnno). as i always say, i can get easily impatient even with the best sets, so to keep me going non-stop like this is pretty good.
then perfect transition by taj shifting away from the psy but maintaining that energy, and then a couple songs in, a very much appreciated break... one of those where you realize it's the first time you have a chance to pause all night... exactly what those kind of trance breaks were made for. so i just had a ridiculous dumb smile on my face all night!:gsmile: definitely burned off some of those thanksgiving calories!
so was the music much harder than usual? was it the sound system? was it both? or was it just me being quite sober?
and disappointed in myself for not making it to the end up :( |
