well, this looks like it's exactly what i've been hoping for. except that it's ing hideous. :wtf:
i wonder what it'll end up costing compared to the cdj-200 and the cdj-800. if it's less than the 800, i think i will buy 2!
edit: or then not. if the tempo slider will send only 128 different midi messages it won't be very accurate at all then as at +/- 6% and 0,02% resolution there are 600 different positions the slider can be in.
so as a midi controller the resolution of the pitch slider will only be about 0,1% (0,09375% to be exact) at +/- 6%. not good enough for me. i might just get the cdj-200's anyway then and traktor scratch instead of these and just plain traktor. |

| Pretty hot, too bad it's a ing eyesore. And I'm not too sure how that "improved" jog dial will stand up next to the 800 and 1000. |

a cdj with built-in effects...
Honestly, I don't really like this new guy. It has way too much stuff on it and it seems to be pimped ! |

Kind of in agreement here, though the effects on the 200's are fairly decent in my opinion. It seems like they're trying to add more into the jog dial, however. I'm all for vinyl emulation on the lower-end models, but just put in a jog dial similar to the 800's or 1000's, not ideas like the push in jog dial that was used in Denons and Stantons (if I remember correctly) that everyone complained about (especially when trying to do a vinyl backspin). |

I wonder how much functionality one can get out of the USB port.
I stuck a small USB hub in one of my CDJ cases to connect a small USB-powered light for my mixer. I wonder if the same could be done here (and I don't see why not). |

Yeah, but if they did that, there'd really be no reason to get the 800. From reading over the specs, while the memory expansion, (limited) midi, and increased effects are cool, the jog is the main factor as to why you'd wanna upgrade or not upgrade. |
