yep, what a waste of a night! Was anyone able to get in? They werent letting anyone in.. it was the most pathetic line-up and therefore night ever lol... that line-up was disgusting, and the club appears to be beyond that lol, basicly $80 to see this guy? what is he twice better than PVD? idiotic!...

| So me and Stefan (PurpleHaze) headed down to see David Guetta, one of our friend's friend was lining up since 9:45 and the line didn't move for half an hour, then a bouncer walked up mid way through the line and yelled out the cover is now $40! half the people in the line basically left. I really wanted to see him but for $40 bucks and a crowd full of aggressive drunk ginos.. no thanks, I rather pay the $50 for PVD. |

Well, what I have to say about this:
1) Who is Hammer, and how can you knot now Sweedish House Mafia?
2) I am glad I didn't go last night, I would have been really pissed for staying up late and not even being able to get in to the club!Very dissapointed with the organization of this event from what I've heard. If someone did go, I would love to read a review.

They organized it exactly like they wanted.
This is not Guv.. they want a certain clientele and they go to great lengths to ensure that is all that comes through their door.
People can cry all they want - clubs like the Century Room don't care.
As for Hammer - who cares. He gets paid to play what his listeners want to hear.. you complain that Guetta is too commercial and because he is played on z1035
Then you complain that they don't know who the Swedish House Mafia is. If they did would you complain they are too commercial as well?
I bet it was loads of fun for those who got inside.
Rodger Sanchez was done exactly the same way in February and I had a great time. |

1) The "Hammer" is a radio personality on z103, he has NO real clue about anything EDM related.

2) I had a feeling in the back of my head it would not be worth it so I never went.
As for complaining they're too commercial or complaining how z103 doesn't know about the swedish house mafia. They should know SOMETHING of the music they play no? Just an obvservation... :) |

I got in, it was pretty sweet :D I heard about the line, I was thinking "holy i'm LUCKKKKY".
my gf couldn't get in, she wanted to come around 9, but she was sick and I was like "9?!? No way your gonna get in" so I had a fun night out... alone.
Listened to the Drive @ 5, started recording at about 5:10 or so, I'm gonna be putting the file up somewhere and linking if anyone wants to listen...
His mix of Stronger was totally kick ASS! |
