it must have been a rough year for inventors if putting a touch screen and a phone together was really the best one :/

Um, that wasn't Apple's idea either. Palm's been doing that for ages.

Apple was not even the first to combine any particular technologies. They were just the first to slap the Apple label on it and, as mentioned, "market them to great success". They don't really have to do much marketing these days, though; the asswipes who cream themselves over every new iProduct do the marketing for them.

It's like calling a Dell computer an invention because they specifically picked out those parts and packaged them together. Sure, wonderful, but there are a hundred other OEMs out there packaging slightly different parts together and coming out with products that are equally original and unique, but maybe better.

I'm pretty sure Apple's PR people had something to do with this.

correction, 90% of the apps on the iPhone has been on every other PDA PHONE. The iPhone ripped off everyone's idea and pieced it together.

Yes sir, it's very fragile. Even if you dropped it on the back ... it creates a nice dent. I thought car's had fragile bodies.

Like it or not you apple haters.. the iphone is revolutionary.

This thing is unbeleivable. Ive got one and it DOESNT COMPARE AT ALL to the that is out there.

People here can continue to say "this company has this and that in their phones" but apple has PERFECTED everything and bunched it into one phone.

Its amazing how i can listen to ASOT while working out.. answer a phone call without taking off my earphones, and go back to ASOT without even touching a button.

Its also amazing how i can borwse the internet while listening to ASOT , answer a phone call, text message someone and check my email answer a call and then go back to listening to ASOT all at the same time. Oh yeah.. i can also take a picture while doing all this too.

Ive tested so many phones.. including the new Nokia N95 or whatever its called, the Treo's and HTC.. its LAUGHABLE when you compare them to the iphone.

STOP HATING...

oh and if you really have nice freinds.. you can add NINTENDO on your phone.. with 500 games on it.
