tiesto did play techno in his set, i know 100x percent for a fact he did in Dutch Dimension 2002 ;)
meybe he was being sarcastic when he said techno = monotone...
ohh yea and to pick which dj, i was really really impressed with tiesto's performace in DD 2002 and his cd Summerbreeze, i never heard any ferry corsten's sets, but i heard around town that he sucks ass at mixing...
although i like the gouryella series, i believe its gonna take alot for ferry corsten to beat tiesto "mixing wise" because tiesto has impressed me alot...

when i heard that combination i wanted to my pants and jizz in the air whilst jumping up in down, omg i was in euphoria...
so all in all, i dunno until i hear one of ferry's sets..

i dunno WHAT alot of u are talking about...saying Tiesto plays techno now...LOL...why because he plays a few harder tracks then usual...thats absurd....and thats ONLY within the past few months...so um really get a grip...
anyway...
for me:...i wuld have to go with Tiesto for DJ skills and productions...i dont really like many of Ferry's productions...and cant compare to the tracks Tiesto has made through the years....
personally i like them both..but Tiesto more.... |

so i imagined the prophet in his set for months this time last year then..?
and everyone @ NEC imagined him playing Umek - Gatex...

ferry corsten is an arrogant dick and hasnt got any originality... plus tiesto kicks ass... ferry has never impressed me, tiesto has.. and thats my answer :) |

| Don't get me wrong, both are amazing DJ's.. me personally I'd pick Ferry.. I'm not saying he's better than Tiesto.. it's just my taste in trance.. Everyone has there pick, which is cool, cuz that's what they feel.. preferring one over the other. Ask me, who's better technically, and I can't give you an answer, cuz everyone's different, doesn't matter what the next person says, it's all about what's candy to your ears. ez. |

LOL...yea but that doesnt make u a techno DJ. jus cus he plays 1 or 2 tech tracks in some sets..thats like saying u drive fast on the highway once or twice and all of a suden u think ur a race car driver...lol....

| tiesto is way more in versatile than corsten. he tries new sounds and not that same swiss cheese in synth that corsten always has to use. tiesto adds more elements to his productions whereas ferry is stuck in the same in loop recyclin the same sound. |

Last time I heard Ferry he was amazing, very trancy. The last time I heard Tiesto it was a bit of a disappointment. It was slow and not so trancy, maybe he didn't have his day.
But overall my favourite would be Tiesto, cause of his solo sets. They are all amazing and a better party you can't have. :eyes: |
