Did a random hard techno set the other night and this portion of the set IMO is good enough for a listen. (Editing was a bit of pain though)
A mix of funky, tribal and some acid, all banging.

this is the first evil tree mix i have heard to date. I really wanted to hear some good tech stuff and sure enough I received it. Gotta say some really really great tracks in there. Definitely needed to throw in a couple of acid and funkier tracks in there as well to take away from the monotonous. Not as a bad thing cuz you rally had a solid flow throughout the mix but i think you should have thrown in some tracks with a slightly heavier influence on the funk and acid aspect of the mix.
You need to fix the quality of the sound. I'm no sound engineer but i can tell you that your mix would have been top notch if it just had more lows, bass whatever. Mixing was great. Twas a good listen. |

Thanks for your feedback :)
I rather handicapped myself with track selection because I love techno, but I'm a progressive house DJ so I didn't have many tracks. :)
I don't know what I can do about the bass issue as I'm using a xone62 and the main output boosts the bass loud enough, (to the point that I have to turn down the bass on the amp) but the main record out, the bass is rather reduced. *shrug* |

If I'd have to give this the proper review that I promised..
I'd have to win the lottery, get some pure Colombian flake, a couple of high-end prostitutes, and your address.
So I'll have to make a short one:
I ing love this. |
