I just wanted to give my fellow TAs a heads-up; the nomination thread for the 2nd half of 2007 is tentatively scheduled to open on Dec. 1st. Start thinking of your nomination choices.

Here are the tracks you nominated back in June:

02 Aril Brikha - Winter
03 Deadmau5 – Faxing Berlin
04 Leon Bolier vs. Astrid – Crazy People

06 Joop – The Future
07 Lemon & Einar K - Hope
08 Duderstadt - Smile
09 Sultan & Ned Shepard – Together We Rise
10 Breakfast – The Sunlight
11 Remy & Roland Klinkenberg – Mexico Can Wait
12 Trentemoller - Moan
13 Lost Witness vs. Sassot - Whatever
14 Mr. Sam feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw - Split
15 Beetseekers - Synergy

I don't have the names, but this track received 1 1st, 5th, and 6th place vote and 3 10th place votes for a grand total of 24 points. Albert Vorne's Formentera What? led the way with 131 total points.

sorry to bust your balls but shouldnt you specify the remix name? im pretty sure formentera what was the gareth emery remix and light the skies was the retrobyte remix.. they're quite different from the original, and which version of crazy people as the original and alternative are practically two different songs

Faxing Berlin has been spammed to death since the beginning of the year. I doubt it has the staying power any longer to be TOTY.

Also I agree with Stan229 you should add the remix name if applicable.

It's always been like this. Remix names aren't specified, I guess it's way too confusing that way.

this always gets brought up...

the official way it used to be done was that remix names were omitted if more than one version of each tune was entered.. so they'd all count as the same tune. if a specific remix was the ONLY version of a track to be nominated however, then the remix name would be included in the poll. this should really be the the case for formentera what & knights of cydonia (which wasn't even released under muse)

From that list I guess I'd pick Faxing Berlin.
HaeD
faxing berling would get my vote.

Correct.

I'll go through the nominations from the first half and add the remix version a sufficient number of people added the remix name.

For the second half thread I'll ask all to include the remix name in the title.

I thought Gui Boratto - Beautiful Life was going to make it

Well Poison Jam and Haed are already proving my assumption incorrect.
