hey mate cool tune, youve improved quite a bit..
i dont think those pads are in key with the melody.. but i could be wrong.. sub-pads are done nicely though.. Qlimax was exactly what i expected good work, again the only thing i didnt like was the way the pads came in and fade out.. maybe try another synth/vst instead if the current one?.. anyway mate i enjoyed it. keep up the good work your definatly going the right direction.

good buildup, like it.
really like that melody type thingy (think you know what i mean).
Cool stuff, only thing is I think a more pounding beat would go well, and a more bassier..... bass.
maybe more variation with the percussions aswell.
loving those pads, i cant see the problem myself - but everyones different.
actually the way they fade, doesnt sound right to me - id say keep the sound, but make the eq go more smoother.
im no pro, just like trance. |

Good buildup... However, I think that I am beginning to discover that you have a liking for basses with a bit of chorus or stereo effects on them. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but you might want to start with narrower basses and layer them up in your productions. Generally you want the deepest bass frequencies to be centered -- just my opinion... When the first pads, etc. came into the mix, I was a little dissapointed with the placement of the bass in this mix.
Your pads were awesome... Rank1 wavy supersaw triumph. I especially liked your sub-bass pads. Those totally rattled my phones and it was beautiful. It's a good pad all in all. One of the arps was not matching the pads as it was filtered in -- it might be clashing, but my ears get use to it as it loops. It might not have been clashing, and you might have wanted that dissonance to stick like that for all I know.
It's a good trance... but it could have been really good if the bass was in a better place, and the arps and pad could work together just a little better. Keep it up! |
