mandy were on fire..great set. studio b wasn't as bad as you guys were saying it was. thought it was a more then decent venue. only downside was getting to that effin place and back to li..was quite the adventure. definitely will be driving if i do end up going back there |

They are ok mixers. Personally, I'd rather not be able to tell when a new track is coming in or going out of the mix as easily as I could tell with them and Lazarus. Instead of working it in or out of the mix, you could tell they were just taking the fader and slamming it all the way down or up with their mixing. Only heard a couple mess ups from MANDY and Lazarus started to get too drunk or messed on something I think. His set progressively got worse. Last track he played was something you would play when you come home at 5am from a crazy night out and you just wanna listen to something really chill. Something must have kicked in in his body and only he wanted to hear that at that moment because it was about 2am and he had got the floor rocking from all the techno/tech house he was playing.
But seriously, aside from all of that, the night was still incredible. The music being played was great and the crowd was also very cool. I'm definitely gonna try and make it back to that place for future parties. |

Well I've never been to Studio B before but it's definitely a cool place for a party. Loved the space, the staff and security were very chill, and it's got a proper big ol' dancefloor with some pretty hefty sound. We really had a good time there last night and everyone was seriously up for it...great energy and atmosphere in the whole club :)
We spent pretty much the entire night DJing in the side room which had a nice flow of heads coming in and getting down. What we got to hear from Damian and M.A.N.D.Y was stellar though - very melodic, trippy, techy stuff that the crowd was eating up. Damian was up first after the Trouble & Bass DJs started it off, and M.A.N.D.Y took over after that. They were tagging to close out the night and we got out of there around 5am.
