Do what I do in this situation. Search on MySpace for the guys name, if he has a profile then that means he's real and it's probably legit.

Why even the need to ask? This is like the 1000000th version of the nigerian scam, poorly disguised. Come on, someone that has used the internet for at least 4 years shouldn't have doubts about this.

About 2 years ago i have actually received letters from spain saying that i won a lottery and i have to go to spain and claim it
