Maybe someone can shed some light on this to me. What the hell is all the violence about?? Also, have they ever heard of restrictions, or metal detectors? Moreover, why the hell do they let fans bring flammable into the stadium?

| It's a real shame... If any of those two sides' fans were in the middle of the street without their jerseys on, they'd strike up a conversation about how the North is screwing them (they're from Sicily, and most Southerners have a huge disdain for the North and the government, and likewise/vice-versa).... Yet, when they have their jerseys on, it's a whole other story... It's like a Devils vs. Rangers but 100 times worse... As far as the flammable is concerned, those "fumogini" (smoke bombs) are snuck in, since security checks are very minimal, especially in the South... So a usual Italian game in the South goes on with like 5 or 6 of those things exploding per-game, nothing really out of the ordinary... |

but yet it appears that's the problem. the solution is easier than they think, be a little more intrusive. |

| Yeah pretty much... About four years ago, I went to see Bologna vs. Roma... My dad was a Bologna fan because Roberto Baggio was playing there, and my dad's a player-fan, not a team-fan, he followed him onto every team he's ever played on... So we were in Roma watching the game, and basically, we didn't let my dad wear the jersey OR scream when/if Bologna scored... It was really scary, there were fights, there were those exploding things, there were scuffles even right in front of us... That being said, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, but I couldn't see myself going or bringing my family to something like that every week, it really is a badass's sport to go watch, sometimes (depends on the teams playing)... |

Bono helped me get into a girls knickers (indirectly) when I was a Kid so I gotta love the dude for that alone...
Bon Jovi however got me no where...When the dude was in his prime I was a Punk rocker...This was a relatively dry period to me as far as birds went,,'cos I refused to compromise my street cred by sporting a mullet... |
