Pioneer DJM 700

I just got my hands on the Pioneer DJM 700 mixer...What a mixer!!! This thing has it all. Im not here to promote Pioneer in any way shape or form, however im just sharing the word with who ever was thinking of purchasing a new mixer or even thinking about getting the 700. The effects are excellent (the dont sound cheesy @ all), the sound quality is exactly as advertised (it is idential to that of the djm 800 & djm 1000), and the manual filter is a piece of work. With the filter, you can actually either use the filter on the song, use the filter with the song & effects, OR you can actually just filter the effects. The mixer is $1299.99, but compared to the djm 800 ($1549.99) it has the same functions & the sound quality is identical. The only benefit I see in the 800 over this one is the fact that on the 800 you can add the rotary knob kit to the channel faders. If that is not something that bothers you and you are fine with channel faders, this is a mixer I can definatley reccomend! Cheers!

Yeah, but you remember around two months ago when the 800 was $1299? Hm? Kinda makes Pioneer a company in some regard.

4Real???? I've never seen the 800 drop less that $1549.99. Yea as a company I would say that maybee they are'nt that great, however the products that they put out are excellent. It's the industry standard for a reason!:toocool:

You should never go by MSRP anyway. Anyone who pays it is a sucker.

Not to me, I own an 800. Therefore it's like buying a house and the value going up.

I'm all smiles!

I'd sell it now for a Xone 92 before it drops anymore... :p

I got mine for $1299. That was a major factor for me between a Xone 92 and a DJM800.
