| Hey I've been on these forums on and off for awhile. I've never been to one of these in OC, how is it there? Dress code. Looking forward to seeing k.sky & rank1. Coming solo this time though. =( |

Glad to hear you'll be making it out :) Make sure to say hello!
Re: Dress code- it's a bit "upscale" but you don't need to worry too much. Just don't come in flip flops, t-shirt and a hat.
If you're a girl, you can pretty much get away with anything as long as it doesn't look like you're in your PJs ;)
On another note- do I have some bombs to play tonight!!! Really stoked on some of these tunes. Can't wait to party with all of you :) |

i got a total of 2 and 1/2 hours of sleep. my brain hurts, i'm so tired my eyes burn and my students are looking at me like i'm the walking dead. i need caffine and didn't have enough change to get a coke this morning. this is going to be a very long day.
but last night was tons of fun!!!! thank you piet for banging it out some, lol!!! always great to see you behind the decks. wish i could make your closing set tonight but i just don't see my soon to be lifeless body driving down to SD after the field trip today.
good times, great seeing the TA's that were there. ksky that track 30 minutes before you were finished was so amazing and then to end with the remix of the sound of good bye brought me back to the good old days at spundae circus. and i loved the matt cerf tracks!!! |

Thank you Kristina! That was the best $10 I've spent in awhile. You and Rank 1 were awesome. It was my first time at Tentation, didn't realize it was so small, but then again, it's OC. =P Love the remix of Lustral - Everytime you played, I have the record but don't have that particular remix. |

WOW! All I can say right now is- What a night! :eyes:
The people, the vibe, everything was on point last night.
Piet (Rank 1) played a killer set full of hot tracks. I only felt bad that he was having back pains throughout the night. I know how that is and it SUCKS!
I've been really sick since I got back from Manila on Sunday and it wasn't a fun prospect to think of playing that way but luckily you crazy clubbers lifted me up and I totally forgot I was sick for those hours behind the decks.
Feelin' it now though! :nervous:
Definitely need some major rest.

Glad you enjoyed the tunes girl. Tons of new ones, bootlegs, exclusives and oldies. It was great to see them so well received!
The whole set was recorded so we'll find out which tune you were loving real soon.

Thanks for the kind words :D Glad you enjoyed the Lustral mix- as a matter of fact, that mix is brand spanking new, not even finished and you all were the first and only people in the world to have heard it yet. Seeing everyone sing along was classic and definitely one of the highlights of the night for me.
I bet OC is thanking it's lucky stars for Giant @ Tentation. It really is a great night and for the price, it really can't be beat. The venue's sweet, bouncers are nice, drinks are good, the sound tech rocks, Ryan Sage, Allen S and Boris are great guys and working so hard to make that place hop every Thursday, and despite the stereotypes of "OC crowds" the crowd there is AWESOME!
Big kudos to GIANT for pulling it off with true class.
It's quickly become one of my favorite nights to play. Hope to see you guys back down there very soon.

You didn't look like you were in pain at all after your set....shampagne seemed to work its magic, huh? :p
The night was definitely great, thanks to Piet's amazing set! Can't wait to do it all over again tonight in SD! Gotta ask him to play the Funkytown remix again :D
