I would go with the Samsung. I used to own one (17-inch) and it never gave me problems.

a 22" wide screen LCD goes for from $230-260 retail in Toronto.
I just bought a Samsung for $250. It's great for watching full-body pictures when you turn the monitor sideways. Glossy washes up better than anti-glare. |

Dude I have the 226BW and i ing LOVE IT.
No complaints at all, colors are great. Response time is awesome, no ghosting or tearing AT ALL. No buyers remorse at all. Sleek lookin too. |

I bought an ACER 22" Widescreen and am loving it. I really have a hard time switching back to anything smaller now.
I got mine for a steal though . . . clearanced out at the OD for $137!! |
