Had to get up early this morning as the chimney sweep was coming by, and my company for the night had to leave for work... so, having dropped her off at the train, made my way back home, and had sufficient time to soak in the absolutely dismal weather we've had today, I started work on yet another track for my album.
» Feelings From A Grey Winter Day » 2:29
The track will feature vocals (possibly by Nick Beman), and needless to say more detail on the padding, guitar sequencing, and cymbal/fx work. Have kind of been missing doing pad-oriented tracks, so now that I'm doing the album, I've focused more on those types of tracks so as to be able to avoid doing yet another boring mainstream trance/electro/house album with no surprises, that have been all too common as of late... and to be honest, it feels f*****g good to be doing this kind of stuff again. Deeper, moodier, and more myself that my music has been in quite some time. It's been a long transition between software platforms, but it finally feels as if I've reached the new starting point towards which I've been striving for the past two years. |

production quality it's top notch....sounds really good, very chilled though it's not what i usually listen to, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

Thank you, glad you appreciate the time that's gone into getting it all to mesh properly. |

Thank you very much. It's only natural that one cannot appease the tastes of everyone, so consequently I don't even try. :tongue2 Anyhoo, glad you liked what you heard.
Also, here's a link to the other topic I created the other day. Inside you'll find three freebies (a remix of a BT track, and one of Salt Tank's Eugina), some news regarding what I've been up to lately, as well teasers from some upcoming tracks.

really clean and crisp chilled out music here but i was expecting something similar to rusch and murray - epic. have you moved away from the uplifting stuff completely now?
really enjoyable track though. fits with the weather we get here in ireland at the minute which i liked.
cant find any faults really it does exactly what it says on the tin.
keep it up! |

Glad you liked it. :)
Regarding the uplifting stuff, I've never really been much of an uplifting type producer. The stuff I've fallen for, in terms of trance music, has typically been that which at least a semi-progressive edge to it... but, if you check the link a few posts up, there is another topic with three freebies, in which there are also a few links to previews of other more club oriented tunes, on which I'm working atm. |
