Where have I said that? Further, and as you well know, I play his remix of "Transit Time" - so wouldn't that be a bit self-defeating?

:conf:

Nothing I've said has anything to do with anything other than my own opinion. Anyone reading anything further into it than that is either making bold assumptions about what I'm saying without actually reading it or completely misinterpreting what I've posted.

Edited because you bust out the rolleyes and turned a casual afternoon on the internet into serious business. :o

It is, however, nice to know that all people have left to do is nitpick.

Chill m8...it was intended as friendly joke that's all, no intention of knocking you. I'm not the kind of person to take these threads too seriously :p ...very few actually offer some serious-though provoking substance...

as for the rest...:wtf:

I dunno, but maybe over the past 5 dubfire related threads I've misinterpreted you as going from "I dont like these tracks" to "Dubfire is ". You chided anyone who uses ribcage as a tool and dismissed the argument completely, even though it was legit in that context, and accused them of just playing it because of the artist name...which I thought was lame...

I've seen Lee work Ribcage into a set wonderfully, and I think what Jason's beef is, who are you to talk to Lee for liking a track. Now, I don't agree with that, I think you have a right to be dismayed, sort of like me when Sasha plays the Kanzyani mix of Outhouse, which I ing hate (though I understand why people like it and why it works for alot of folks)...but I'm going to be perfectly honest and say that some of your anti-dubfire rants meet squarely with arrogance and the result is not very appealing...

You have a serious need to go back and reread my posts then - because it's quite clear you're either complete unable to divorce my opinion of a producer and track from my opinion of those who enjoy/play them or you just haven't read them. Further, the only thing I've said about the "DJ tool" argument is that it's absurd that such tools are garnering critical acclaim for being somehow intrinsically valuable on their own.

Also, there is no difference between me saying that I "don't like" a lot of tracks by a producer and me saying that producer "is ." None. A producer who is only capable of producing DJ tools might very well be just that to me; . You're welcome to disagree, but don't call me arrogant for having an opinion that doesn't agree with yours.

And as far as Jason's beef? I don't know and I couldn't care less.

I was pretty much just offering my opinion, I don't expect you to approach these threads any differently or change your mind. I disagree with people daily on this site, it has less to do with that and more to do with understanding that something that might not do it for you can and does work for others. Just a tiny bit of acceptance of that fact can do wonders for the way people perceive your opinions.

In addition, I've been an arrogant **** many times on this forum, I'm not claiming any sort of moral high-ground, other than I have seen and understood that small differences in the way opinions are presented and worded can do wonders for the way other people interpret them...

And I hope you know by now that I'm not trying to rile ANYONE up and I'm just offering genuine opinions of what I see.

The content of Clovis and my posts at least seems to be somewhat relevant to the discussion at hand.

More so than this, anyway.
