yea, the low weight diff is suprising, guess we'll see if there's any real performance change

i didn't like the roofline of the 135 when the first press shots came out but i've seen others that have looked better since and it's grown on me...waiting to see it in person

the 335 coupe is a sexy bith regardless, lol

also while the 335's twin turbo's (one per 3 cylinders) are meant to fight turbo lag, there is still lag - the naturally aspirated e46 m3 will have the quicker off the line jump, but when the 335 finally hits the power band it will make up the difference

lol @ gettin an automatic tho - at least you finally wised up and didn't get another vert, but then again, you're not an enthusiast by any stretch of the imagination, you bought it b/c it's a bmw and you live in LA

Ya, its tough to step into any other car after a Beemer. Nothing beats Beemer handling in that price range.

I may not be a crazy Beemer enthusiast, but I did pass on the 328 (too slow).

The new m3 is prob a monster. I know many of you didn't like my old laguna seca color, this is darker, more of a midnight blue.

I saw a 1 series in Italy over the summer. Kinda reminded me of the old ti's. Its a good car for someone who wants a Beemer but doesn't or can't spend much. Kinda like gettin an X3 instead of an X5.

I traded in the m3. It wouldn't start, had transmission problems and the light for the catalytic converter turned on (something about being over the emission threshold).

this was the same car you tried to sell here a month ago? SICK!!!

Yup! I towed it in to the BMW dealership. It's their problem now! I'm loving this car. New car smell, fast engine, a lil too fast for rush hour street traffic. Can't wait to test it on the highway. I got a demo with 4k miles so the engine is already broken in. I'm the first owner. It came with the sports and premium packages.

I would not advise ever purchasing a BMW that is out of warranty!

Who are you quoting? I said I wanted to sell the old one to get something newer in warranty.

I actually didn't sell it privately and sold it to a dealership because I knew it was a never ending headache.

I still like this monster better though

I'd rather have the auto.. the 335 auto tranny with sports mode is one of the best.

I would have rather gotten the manual, even though that tranny is decently good...

But in the scheme of things, i want the car to shift when I want it to, not the ECU ;)

I cant wait for the new M3, that will be my next car!

I was looking into the 335 also, because all you need is I/E chip and more boost and you are making serious POWER.

But in the end, i am prolly going to get the new M3....
