swamper: i really dont think it works that way. i think its a problem with nero... and if it says its 7 minutes itll burn 7 minutes.

but like me and some other people said, all you should do is cut it up and burn two parts (since you cant burn that much anyways)... that, or re-save it and itll be fine

i think you are screwed.
but you cant burn 126 minutes onto a cd, that is too big, i dont think they make cds that hold that many minutes of music, although, if i you have found ones that hold that many minutes, please post the website where you get them in this thread

Uhm... Why would it matter what Nero reports the length of the CD as being? Who cares? If the data is all there as you claim and it plays in Winamp without a problem then obviously there is no data corruption - hence, no problem.

yeah this is what i dont get either :/ cant your copy the raw data from the cd to your hdd cause its obviously all there if winamp plays the whole mp3...

Biohazard
yeah I know what you mean I had that once but only with 2 sets

what I did was play them in Winamp and record them with my creative recording software. And convert the Wav to mp3 and its done

but now I have a bigger problem..my CD burner is ed. It cant close CDs, when it tries it poops an error. I can burn a Cd without closing but my CD-Rom cant read it only the CD-writer. Anyone know what to do?? I tried with adaptec, wincdr and Nero at both 1x and 2x speed but the same thing happens all the time

The same thing happened to me with every singel one of my Tiesto sets. So I just opened up the sound recorder on my pc and played each one through winamp as I recorded it in the sound recorder. I only did it with like 6 or 7 live sets though and that took a long time so I don't recomend doing that with 60 live sets.

I have the same problems but with Wavelab, and it's only some files that do it. I did the same thing you did, drop a bunch of mp3 to data format to make some space on my HD. When I put them back on to cut them in Wavelab and make audio Cd's Some, not all showed up as 0min and 0sec. But they played to their entirity in Real player.

i have also had this problem, i have say a 73 MB set in MP3 format then i use Adaptec easy cd creator and drag the file into the space below (thus converting it to wav). But it still registers like 5 mins. I have tried other sets and it has happened also....this isnt just a NERO problem.

ok i figured out how to FIX the problem...

all u gotta do is DECODE back to WAV then ENCODE again to MP3...so far its working and i have gotten like 20 sets back...it jus takes foreeeeevvvvveeerrrr...but its better then re-finding the sets and re-downloading...thanks for all the help:) ...i think i got it...i mean so far its working fine with the 20 i did...:)

Not True - Winamp has VERY advanced error detection. it will play files that are so corrupt, that they would bring other mp3 players to their knees! Have you ever found an mp3 file that will not play in winamp???
