Well, not really drowning, but it can be very relaxing:-) Of course, it's good to have a drink with a friend at the pub, but people can be busy, too.

Well....I have a bottle of Bacardi Rum and a bottle of Yellow Tail Chardonay under my desk right now so.......it may be a good morning |

the taste!
as i said, i dont enjoy other drinks that much that id ever usually buy them, save for, again, diet coke when at a fast food restaurant (i love diet coke far far more than i do beer... its the best beverage EVER!!! :D:))
beer and tap water or dasani water and diet coke are my only beverage staples! |

taste is the only reason I would drink any alcohol but there are only a very few alcohols I like the taste of (Robert Simpon Beer and Baileys)........and I agree Diet Coke is the best beverage ever. |

TOTALLY... *BUT* only so long as its "FOUNTAIN" Diet Coke from a restaurant, and with ice.
The fountain and ice aspects are SO KEY for me.
W/o the ice, I dont really like it, I really dont. Its a combo of the extra chilling effect as well as the slight dilliution I'm guessing.
And i dont like Diet Coke from cans or bottles either. I really dont. Wouldlnt buy it.
Its just not the same. |

these are my favorite red wines, as well as some specific Cabernet Sauvignon's from reserve. i drink a glass whenever i feel like it, especially when i have dinner that includes grilled meat or Pasta. i sometimes keep one on my desk to sip on while studying, of course, i never go overboard with it when it is not the time nor the place. |

i don't think there's anything wrong with having a couple of beers by yourself once in a while. For example, on Fridays i rarely ever go out and since i never drink during the week i enjoy having 3,4 beers at home while i'm chilling and watching some sex and the city dvds hehehe..it's very relaxing and it's not like i'm getting all hammered by myself
