behaviour will change for sure, but I am not sure that people will have magically more money to spend on overpriced drinks. |
That's the thing. It's like clubs decided to up drink prices by $2 per just because people stopped smoking or some . I would actually spend much more money if I could get away with having a decent drink for $6 after a tip than $8 minimum; the latter just irritates me for how much they're trying to gouge and I get fed up after a couple.
Honestly the only way to get a decent amount of alcohol is to buy a bottle, which is pretty sad. I remember the days 6-7 years ago when I thought a bottle was a complete rip off, as I could get a good 40 shooters for $140-160 max if I wanted to be idiotic. Now, bottle service is basically the only way to go if you want to have a resonable amount of alcohol at the bar. |

champagne glasses for you and your girlfriend...50$ before tip
lol
now the normal feminine cocktails like martinis and so on are 20$ at Wunderbar
retarded
in few years we will need more then one 20$ bill to buy a cheap rhum&coke |

I love being a girl on Thursday nights at Tribe. :D
I agree, drinks prices are utterly ridiculous, that's why I always get myself nicely hammered beforehand. :gsmile: |

good to see a new club opening up, TO just opened up Circa and Ottawa... well...
I guess the dancespace is a secret for now? We've gotten a couple new ones here in Ottawad but nothing worthy of mention here. As for clubs opening up extra hour(s), there def needs to be some buffer time to allow ppl to sober up, and water should be served either free in glasses or discounted around that time. It's imperative, especially the way how Montrealer's drive :p
One of our busiest clubs here in Ottawa was handing out bottled water every weekend when u exit.. good initiative if the club can afford to do it. |

| A water bottle costs between 17cents to 25cents, if you're looking harder you can buy them for cheaper. The clubs just don't want to bother. |
