Awwww, silly ******...I have never owned a Razor in my life....not counting the one I won last weekend in that STACKER arcade game.
Which is errm...unopened, and still sitting in front of my fish tank on a dresser in my room.
Im sure Congress raped PVD's set on the bass, just like they did to Armin.

Ay. The acoustics were pretty bad. At some frequencies the bass was at that defining level where it just buzzes in your head. :nervous:
I still remember at least 10 times PVD would signal to the crowd that the kick was coming in by putting his hand back and then fist pumping when it came in, but one time he was too late and he tried to play it off by fist pumping and then turning around all nonchalant in one fluid move. My buddy and I laughed. :p |

The only funny thing is that he actually was doing percs, basslines and piano melody off his midi controllers. :) |

Again, I think it's nice that people believe he's really doing that much, but I don't - and short of seeing Paul do it live and having him explain it to me, nothing anyone on here tells me is going to convince me otherwise.
And for the record, triggering "clips" in Ableton off a Midi controller doesn't qualify (for me) as "playing basslines live."

how about PLAYING EACH NOTE BY HAND ON HIS KEYBOARD... jesus christ I saw him do it and heard it.. he has been doing this for a while, actually. He would do this at shows in the 90's with a Triton (and others).
just to be clear NO i am NOT talking about triggering samples... I know wtf that is and I likewise dont think much of it.
edit: in case you forgot, he's also a MUSICIAN. i think many people have forgotten what that means. |
