| I'm actually fighting a bad cold right now. I hope i dont get sick all weekend. But I cant wait till this show. :) |

| i'm with you ish :( the good news is i probably don't have influenza, but i'm awaiting some lab tests to see if i'm dealing with an upper-respiratory virus or strep throat :nervous: if it's the former, i should be healthy by monday and ok to just hang out a short while on saturday/sunday. here's hoping for the best! |

| Hey there, I'm from the UK and am in town for NYE. Was thinking of trying 1015 out for NYE. Just a few questions I hope you can help me with. When do people arrive? In the UK I often don't show up til about 1. Also is it worth getting VIP? Are drinks expensive and does the bar shut at all? Have my flight back to London at 11.45am and would like to know what kind of night I can expect. |

1015 on NYE=packed like a sardeen can by 11:30pm

Hopefully you're ok Rich. Get plenty of rest as well. I have to work tomorrow morning so I'm gonna sleep super early tonight. I hate these lingering colds that just wont go away.
I'll be at Darude this weekend but wont be staying out too late either.

If the club stays open after 6 am then the bar should reopen. Curious to see how late the night goes. Does anyone know how long 1015 stayed open last year? I was in LA so I missed it. |

Ish and Rich, hope you guys get better soon. Hopefully the flu bug leaves you guys before the show.
Some of you have been asking me and emailing me if I been in hiding.. No. I've just been real busy with 4th quarter for work, and preparing myself for this night.
Currently, Ive been going through my collection of Trance to play for this night. Ive been granted the ability to play trance NYE, so im calling on the best tracks, including some more new stuff from Nitrous Oxide, Signalrunners, and my new favorite of 07, Oliver Smith. I also received some new material to work with from Mirco De Govia, Sonorus, Sean Tyas and Ayla & Fila. Im also excited to play after John Beaver, and with Ish and Koroma.
Guys I wanted to ask you, Im requesting another mixer to be put up there. We have a couple ranes in house. What you think?
There are a few suprises in the mainroom for this night also, Dan is retrofitting a few "things". There is a very cool rainbow light that used to sit in the back above the mainstage. I believe that is being put back in this weekend. Im also asking that he reload the confetti cannons... Intense visuals and lighting as always, and some new effects will be implemented. Those of you are wonderin, If your not gonna be at 1015 on NYE, your gonna miss out!
I may, or may not be able to provide mix cds this weekend. Seeing how curently I had to fly to NY again for work, I have little time to constuct a mix, but will try to get one out as this will be primetime for me to get a mix out there. I fly back tonight thankfully. Ill also be in attendance for Darude this weekend, simply because Darude Kicks ASS when he plays!
Other than that, I hope you guys are having a wonderful holiday weekend, and ready to party it up with us. Im really looking forward to seeing you all NYE!

1015 opens the doors at 10pm and closes the doors at 6am. There is a free party from 6am to 2pm at 1028 Geary between Polk and Van Ness Tuesday morning. It will be bouncy house music. Good music.
1015 has 4 rooms/genres going at once.
Trance, House, Hip Hop, and Mash Up 80s
Drinks are not expensive $4-5 with tip for a beer and very stiff drinks (long island ice tea) will cost $10 with tip. Most mixed drinks around $6-$8 I think.
The crowd will be very different than usual so not sure how that will go but, that said, it will still be a better crowd than all the other large venues. More friendly and there for the music. An unwritten rule to use words like thank you, please, sorry, and excuse me to employees and patrons alike.
Just enjoy yourself and go for the music. You will have a blast at 1015.
