1. On September 11th, massive street gatherings took place in Tehran condemning terrorism, "Death to terrorists" was the chant.
2. Iran helped us in Afghanistan to topple the Taliban.
3. Iran, a Shiite country, are enemies of Al-Qaida, an extremist SUNNI group.
4. In 2003, Iran sent to Washington peace treaty laying out negociations on their nuclear program, support of militias (Lebanon, etc.), cooperation. In return, the USA was asked promise to no longer call for regime change, or use axis of evil in reference to Iran, and ensure the security of Iran by not trying to subvert Iran's security as they had done in Iraq. The White House sadly REFUSED!!!

and yet, Bush had the nerve to call Iran an axis of evil. I've come to the conclusion the neocons just flat out want to go to war. There mentality is, "We've got a hell of a military, LET'S USE IT!" Bush has already been called out on the lack of any Iraq:Al-Qaida link. Now they want war with Iran too? Have they forgotten who the attacked us on September 11? It was ing AL-QAIDA, OSAMA, AND SAUDIS!! Where are the war calls on Saudi Arabia? They are hypocrits and imperialists who care more for their own power than their people. With wars estimated to cost over 1 trillion dollars, how many schools could have been built, how many people fed, HOW MANY PEOPLE INSURED, how many college students with FREE tuition, how much domestic investment could have been done?? Taxes cannot possibly pay for this war. They will continue to print dollars, take loans, and tax the people by inflation doing it...:mad: :mad: :mad: |

| Excellent post man.The U.S had many chances in the past to work with Iran in the region,but everytime Iran riched out the U.S simply shut them down by labelling them as a terrorist nation.:rolleyes: |

The neo-con's in office ruined relations with all the soverign nations on this planet. Conservatives don't care about other nations national security. Their's always comes first. |

I do not disagree with you. I do not think they are conservative at all.At least true conservatives. My point is that you have become an extremist on every post. Neocons this, neocons that. You were pretty balanced just a few months ago. |

When we're on the unjustifiable war path, I can't help but get radical against it. When you KNOW something is wrong with the road we're headed on, many of us can't help but get angry. |
