It takes time.
To get over my 7 year relationship I started smoking and drinking...that was fun. Hang out with your friends a lot, force yourself to go out even though you dont feel like it. Find a rebound lay as fast as you can. |

| I've asked plenty of people and there all giving me the same advice. Nevertheless, I am joyless. not b/c she left me, but goin out havin a good time meeting new people really isn't my thing. however i'm grateful for your advice L.E.N. I think i'm gonna pick up a new hobby, hopefully not drinking. I don't know. |

I think you liked this girl way too much.
Don't hate her. Stop dwelling. Move the on. don't look for 'that will help you move on' as the only thing that can really help you is for you to just get on with your own thing, whatever it is. There is scarcely any advice other people can give in this scenario.
I am fully aware that moving on is far easier said than done, but you will feel much better if you stop hating her and just forget about the whole thing. |
