Nope not all, some just want to relax, but I agree that most don't really care. So was the balcony open ?
The question still remains what the clubbers thought of the set up ...

it was different, which made it pretty cool...

the only thing which i personally liked about the reverse set up was that the booth was a little lower and you felt a little closer/connected with the DJ (imo)...

otherwise i prefer the original way...

the visuals on one side and the dj on the other side seemed to confuse a lot of the people (ie. washers)

but... like i said... its change is good... it was different... something new... great for that night!

Ok, thanks for the reply. Changing it up is sometimes good. Wish I had been there to check it out. We'll be there for New Years !

i agree with billy, at first when i got there i was like wtf? the flow from the bar and the people watching laurent was kinda a pain at first but then it cleared out a little and it was fine. i loved that there was way more dj interaction with the crowd!!! reminds me of the circus dj booth, down with the people.

Other than just to change things up, was there more as to why?

Just seems like with that setup far fewer people (balcon excluded) can get a view of the DJ. Although I am guessing it's a perception issue since you have walls on all sides making it feel more closed in. But I dunno.
