| was in line for this at one point in the night but the lines at footwork tend not to move..... maybe it was just overly packed in there, it was only like 12:10 though about |

perhaps his style? |
You got it. The history of my photos, if anything, demonstrates my stylistic preference.
Thanks for the words all. It was a good night. |

sick photos, it realy brings out the underground grimy nature of our scene... In a good way that is. I remember a while back there was a photo set of footwork pics that made the place look like a dirt whole. On the other hand this set makes footwork look like an authentic underground party atmosphere.
I would love to see photos of this style but of the ZONE :nervous: |

Probably not what you were thinking of but here's a couple of sets of mine of Abstract DnB events at CoZo.
Abstract DnB - Concord Dawn & Noisia @ CZ
Abstract DnB - Breakage @ CZ
As far as I know, on the typical "afterparty" nights at the Zone, they don't allow cameras. |

I know they dont.. im just saying that if someone was to take photos, it would have to be in this particular style. |

Chinamans photos are amazing as well, but in a different way. They capture a different attribute of the party experiance. |

Thank you, btw. I really appreciate it when people can tell the distinction between the typical club shots -what I call egotography, and what I go for. There's nothing wrong with that style, afterall people love to see nicely composed shots of themselves, but clubs are saturated with cameras and gear and I think the only way to be distinct is stylistically/thematically. I tend to go for a feel of the night, rather than concentrate on individuals.
Again, thanks all for the comments. |

whats with your ing attitude? who said anything about jealousy when all i said was that i noticed many of his pics were overexposed? he cleared that all up when he said that was his style. so off.

yeah i know exactly what you mean. when i wasnt getting paid (trying to make a name for myself.. or paying my dues...) i did that. but once you start getting paid then the employer wants you to focus on individuals because thats how they promote their website. |

interesting shots.
slightly overexposed in many of them though. |
Just sounds nasty to me. Like "no one ever says that about my pictures" *Paris Hilton pouty face* |

Yeap. Which is why I've refused offers in the past to work for these types. I do what I do because I love it and will only continue as long as I'm allowed creative license. I can't think of a quicker way to hate my work than to be forced to adopt someone else's shooting values. There's nothing wrong with those that do it, but my motto is "it's just not my style". |
