I wonder what the general reaction would be if you renamed the thread title to:

"Let's talk butt-plugs"

Another recommendation for ER20s

I just ordered one of those custom earplugs ones. Haven't gone to sending the mold back yet though. (Expensive as hell to buy!)

so....im actually wondering how much of an improvement are the ER-20's ?

dude I wore both to the club before, the ER-20s/or similar are like 10x better than the yellow foamy ones, the yellow foamy ones muffle sound, whereas the ER-20s just makes the sound a lil quieter so you hear everything just at a lower volume, I can't wait to get my custom ones, every musician and DJ say that they're worth every penny.

When you damage your hearing, what happens is that some of the hairs in our ear that respond to the vibrations of the ear drum disapear.. and baby they will NEVER come back. Leaving you with a disability which doesnt allow you to hear sound in the high frequency ranges.

the hairs don't dissapear, they just no longer erect. if you can get them to re-erect some how, then your problem is solved. disability is just the half of it. you'll eventually end up being handicapped.

for those who 'dont care' about their hearing, one cannot comprehend the frustration and depression that follows the average hearing loss.

many people are just ignorant or have not been taught about the importance of hearing. those who are taking measures to protect themselves, good for you.

er-25 custom musicians earplugs FTW

The standing up bit. The hairs are nerve fibres, and once they're damaged, there's nothing that can be done about it. Whether they're erect or not has nothing to do with it.
