EXPOSED moves into the darker beats of the winter season with New York City’s Naveen G and his eclectic DJ style ranging from progressive and techouse to drum n bass and minimal.
Since he began DJing in Chicago in ’98, Naveen has held rotating spots at legendary venues such as Spundae, Smartbar, Zentra and House of Blues. He’s toured Southeast Asia and currently holds a residency with Listed Productions in San Francisco where he’s spun alongside such greats as Lee Burridge, Low End Specialists and Behrouz.
Naveen’s productions have been released on the world-renown Yooshi label, as well as Chug, M-theory and Toes in the Sand. His first release for Yooshi - under the moniker ‘Samsara’ - hit the top of the charts and was included on Satoshi Tomiie’s Global Underground: Nubreed 006.
‘Darker Shades,’ Naveen’s Proton Radio broadcast with part-time DJ and production partner Pat Foosheen “traverses the spectrum from minimal to melodic, all the while maintaining the dark edge that is their trademark.” It’s one of the longest running shows on the station.
This is quite a list of music credentials from a MD doing his residency in radiology at Harlem Hospital in NYC!!!
