Hi,
I hope you will understand that I'm not a pro and I wish to help with what I am writing and not bitching.
The first 3.5 minutes could be a total different track (with quite outdated sounding), then abruptly comes in the melody from the original. From that point it is a bit better, but if I didn't know the original, I would think that yours was the original and NU NRG found the best elements of your track and remixed it into a fantastic track.
I also know, that it's hard to make a better mix than the original. :)
I think it is good for a first try, but you should keep working on it. |

| Thnx for feedback! I actually did think about the first 3 minutes and I will give it a try and re-work it. You're right, it's hard to go vs original, I dont think pack of vsts can improve studio work :) but ill be working on it! |

its a little dry in the beggining, percussion could use some compression, some elements of percussion sounds a little dull, hardly depth to them, i agree its difficult to rmx an original in a way so it sounds better, in the brake down, synths and pads sound too mono, you have to practice a better imaginging, especially in the brake down, i suggest Mondo by waves, i am sure there is room for better panning, almost as if its one dimentional, remnember a good track has to be 3d, left to right panning, up and down (lower frequencies vs high frequencies), and front to back, you can achieve that by reverb or simple volume control, in other words, lets say you have a sound that goes from low to high, if you pan it left to right it will literally be imagined as a wave going up, so from there if you add a little reverb at the end it will look like a sound rising from down stairs, and its going left and right and at the end it goes from front to back, you can practice the 3 variations in any order its fun.
overall i like your track, all i suggest is that you should take your time, in any event, you definatelly got skills and the right conception. |

| Interesting... Ill give it a try on the weekend, ill see if I can improve it with more dynamic feet to it. I might even set independent synts on individual channels to get more flexibility with "3d". Thnx for advice. Appreciated. |
