dubfire remixing plastikman sounds as bad as dirty south remixing josh wink

can't manage to get a direct link, but it's number 1 on Beatport Top Downloads to the right of the screen...sample doesn't give it justice (intro is the best part), but it'll get your taste buds wet :p

You have guys like Bodzin and Huntemann in your favorite producers/DJs list thing, yet you think DUBFIRE represents "nu"-techno? Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Some of the stuff that Bodzin & Huntemann made under REKORDER is very similar to some of Dubfire's latest work. Yes I call that nu-techno sound if we have to label it...

I remember when you were asking me ALL the time to play "Say What you Want"

Now i'm not even sure what your favorite producers are etc

You always post that kind of comment and dont go further :p

ohhhh louis ;) ok, i will give my opinion.

me too i remember asking you to play Ian Carey's Say What You Want!!! loved the song then, still enjoy it now; played in proper setting (ie commercial 10pm-3am club like opera) the track still goes off! it's fun, clueless, im drinking alot of alcohol house music! for sure it's fun! it's not a quality underground production imo but it's still fun music (GOOD cheese as I phrase it) and i'm not ashamed to say i still like it so :p

next point: why/how would u know who my favourite producers, etc are? u don't know what music i'm listening to, what gets sent to me, what is shared with me nor what i'm purchasing online...so ya how would u know? :conf:

but since u're so curious (:p) here's a short list of producers i've been digging for the past...ok let's narrow it down to the past 6 months:

in no particular order:
anil chawla
dale anderson
daniel portman
gold ryan
andy chatterly
layo & bushwacka
scope
eelke kleijn
remo
spooky
king unique
SNM
eric prydz (love his formula for dancefloor monsters)
shlomi aber
gui borrato
...to name a few

now about Dubfire...louis do u remember at BeB 2007 when me, you and Driss were talking right as Dubfire came on? i do! and i remember telling you that we'd be in for a good surprise (even tho his intro was soooo depressing lol)...and that's what we got! a good surprise. the man has re-invented his style and people are indeed picking up on it. so i respect him greatly for the transformation he's undergone (takes a lot of hard work and effort to do something like that) buttttt yaaa...that's about it. he has some good remixes out there for sure...Transit Time is a monsterrrr (15...hours...to... go...BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM lol) but nothing too stellar imo, nothing that i'll remember in 3 years and certainly nothing that would give him the title of producer of the year 2007.

oh and to say dubfire is #1 producer followed closely by deadmau5 makes zero sense...really, you can't compare their sounds at all...

did i go far enough in my response for you? :p;):)

The funny part about that track is that it's done with Jelo, LOL.
