Peace Bridge Wait time for this Saturday?

| i just realized this upcoming friday is 'black friday' in the states, meaning crazy shopping etc. I was considering going to buffalo this saturday around 9am (before i realized about this occasion) Is it worth going or will i just be in for a massive headache? |

My mother or friend or myself etc have been every Saturday and Sunday practically for the last 4 weeks. No one complained about having to wait to go over the Peace Bridge or back except the Sunday morning I went and everyone was going to the Bill's game a few weeks ago. (Coming back was nothing.) It took us about 40 min and we cut through the duty free which seemed to save us another 40 minutes.
However there have been some delays on the exit to the Galleria and it has been crazy in the mall - no one to get a shoe size from the back, literally having to follow people out to their cars to get a parking spot, nothing on the shelves, sales associates commenting that the Canadians have gone crazy, etc.
Be scared of the mall not crossing the border. |

9am wont even get you into the stores. People line up the night before for the sales, and then elbow their way in.
I've seen some of the sales on electronics in the states, and I wish I had money and white skin to go across the border. |

| when i went to the leaf game in buffalo a couple fridays ago i was shocked at how short the wait was less than 5 minutes in each direction crossing the border. 5:30pm and 11pm |

| My Dad drives truck, and out of all the bridges he said that is the best one to cross at...lately he says that queenston-lewiston bridge has been about a 2-3 hour wait..where as the peace bridge half hour tops..but who knows how bad it will be on friday or this weeekend will be like |

If you're going for black friday shoppping, plan to line up at like 2am-3am.
People go and lineup after their thanksgiving dinner. It's ridiculous! But you can get some great stuff and practically nothing especially on electronics.
Probably can get a decent older HDTV for more than 50% off.
If you want a tip, when you're going via the Queenston-Lewiston bridge, go in the truck lane. Both lanes merge back together on the bridge about 1/2km before you even hit customs...
You can easily save 2-3 hours by doing that. |
