Day after Thanksgiving, "official" beginning of the Christmas shopping season. One-day "mega" sales which involve stores opening hours early and people lining up all night. If you're unfortunate enough to work in retail then you will be clocking-in to the seventh circle of Hell.

I already got my 20 percent discount from Guitar Center, so I got a MOTU Ultralite for 440.

Yeah I lucked-out this year, too. I work 1-10 that day and I work in the grocery department so I have it easy. The two previous years, though... :nervous:

When I worked Black Friday, I worked a midnight-5am shift. I liked that shift. Work at my own pace and not have to give the usual 16% care for customer service required to keep the job. I told a customer and his brother to piss off, I intentionally ed up another guy's transaction who was being a jack off, and for the most part, I spent more time talking to my co-worker (who is also my best friend) about usual junk. Towards the end of the night, we worked in our usual stunts like pretending to take surveys or gluing the pens to the tabletop.

I came in later that night to close the shift (5pm-10pm) and it was easy as . Nobody came in, and those that did were either there for CD-Rs or to complain about us not having enough $5 routers to last the 19 hours of bombardment. And boy, did we enjoy giving them a lickin.

last year, after being told that we were out of the cheapo laptops, some asian guy kneed one of our managers in the balls, complete with "HIYAAA" & all.
