Cleaner for LCD?

| I have an LG Flatron Wide 24'' LCD Monitor and there are a few marks on it. I don't think they are scratches. One almost looks like one but it's tiny (though still visible on a white screen) and have no idea how it got scratched (paper perhaps?). There's smudges on it as well. Simply wiping it down with a micro-fiber cloth that it came with will not take these things off, so I am wondering if anyone recommends using some type of cleaner on it that you can find at stores like Best Buy? I have an old bottle that I used on my laptop, seemed to help a little. I wouldn't want to scratch this $700 monitor so...any thoughts on these LCD cleaners? |

| Never use anything that sprays on to an lcd. If it seeps into the base, it will be soaked up by the crystals and will look terrible/destroy your monitor. I suggest getting wipes from best buy or something. If you do use a spray solvent to clean your monitor... spray it onto a cloth/paper towel prior to cleaning. |
