I just can't take someone seriously if they preface their article with crap like that.

And yes I am entirely aware that I am speaking for myself. Everyone else is allowed to buy into it, but there are some of us who find it pathetic.

Pretty crazy . It kind of pisses me off that the woman chose to have an abortion because she felt that it would help save the world. You didn't save anything, you simply destroyed your own seed. However, if they don't want children, then fine by me. Although I doubt it will have any impact at all on overpopulation considering there's many more women out there who like to punch out 5+ kids.

Wow....by that logic they might as well do a monthly game of Russian roulette (sorry Mag ;)) - the less them there are, the less carbon footprints on this world right?

Besides, she may not, "[B]e alone" but she's sorely outnumbered (at least here in Canada).

What good is Earth if there is nobody living on it? Does it simply become an intergalactic tourist hot spot? I really fail to understand the logic of these people.

There would be nobody left to mourn the absence of humans.

Nature will eventually reclaim us. I don't see a strong point in trying to force it, honestly, but there will come a day when there is only life once more. Not this breach of a species we mistakingly refer to as "civilised".
