Well, I think that pretty much covers every EDM vocalist. So who do you guys like? :stongue: |
I like some of the vocalists that Space Brothers use. Mainly Kate Cameron. Yeah that's probably the only vocalist I can stand.
And I agree with what Mr Mystery said. |

The one thing I have trouble interpreting for myself (as maybe you guy's do to) is, I can't tell whether it's the horribly cheesy vocals that turn me off to a track or if it's the singers inabilities to actually sing...
More I think about it. It's probably a lot of both...
If I want vocals, I'll stick with Imogen Heap. |

I'd rather have an oversized, zit-covered, hairy behemoth of a woman sing amazingly well on a track than I would a hot chick sing terrible. Unfortunately, society wants us to think otherwise nowadays. |
Sorry that you don't like her voice! Oh well. |

I'm not saying I don't like her voice. I think I've heard one tune with her on it, and that was one time a while ago so I don't really remember it at all. That's what I get for not listening to Trance anymore.
I was just saying that the appearance of a vocalist really shouldn't matter at all. |

That might say more about the rest than that she actually stands out. I just find her voice sounding whiny. |

ah! I was so waiting for someone to mention her! how dare you?! she's the best out there right now, and smoking hot as well :thepirate |
Yeah, because she's good looking. who cares if she can sing when she's good to look at? How dare you?!
And personally, whoever sings "the anthem" along with whoever sings on en motion - getting away with it |

Exactly.
It goes right through me, she's ing awful. She's just so it's unreal.
She did one good thing however. BT - Communicate. Most of the song she sounds like a cat with constipation, but then in the breakdowns she says "communicate" repeatedly, that sound pretty neat I gotta give it to her.
But then she ruins it with more ghay assed vox. |

from the top of my head: Diane Charlemagne (she is simply the best), Terra Deva, Yukimi Nagano ('amazingly alive, the music in her eyes', Arnold Jarvis, Kim English, Maxine Harvey, Ernesto/Jonathan Bäckelie, Bless (Vanessa Liftig, Elsa Esmaralda & Mimi Terres), Earl Zinger (well sortof), Róisín Murphy, Erro, Antonia Lucas, Dot Allison, Gaelle, Martha Wash (Probably the best of the house/disco divas), Paris Grey, Ann Saunderson, ye pretty long list but these people can sing, and do it well |
