I'm loading up Ableton as the master program, and when I try to load Reason 4 next as the slave it gives me a message that reads:
"Can not open Reason engine. Please reinstall to make sure that Reason engine is properly installed."
Reason works fine when I'm not trying to rewire, and to be honest I haven't bothered trying to reinstall it because I had no problems installing it in the first place, and I don't think it'll help. would a more recent version of Ableton make it work maybe? |

I'm not sure anymore, but if I remember correctly to rewire to Cubase the sequence was to FIRST load Reason then Cubase. So try to load up Reason first and then Ableton.

This happened to me with cubase and reason, I had to open the task manager and kill reason, it was hung up or something.
Restart the computer? |

Hmmmm I thought it was the other way round. Load your host THEN reason. :conf: |

Try swapping the driver before you load Reason. That worked for me. I use Cubase though so it might not work for you. |

You're right. Haven't used Rewire in a very long time so wasn't sure anymore. Good for pointing it out.
