Apparently it doesn't out perform Intel's chips at all, so Intel has nothing to worry about I'm sure

I am still on single core, and see no reason to change. If I want to get more work done, I'll just use two computers.

because AMD processors have been quoted to be better for floating point logic while Intels are not as good with floating point numbers.

The differences are probably so negligible though..

looks to be more expensive than the intel q6600 chip...

the whole reason why i switched to AMD 6 years back, was because they offered equivalent quality to intel for a far cheaper price. Sadly that seems to be over and i've gone back to intel.
