| Dave Dean wouldn't know underground if it smacked him in the face. |

Could be interesting...as for "underground" and cutting edge artists, I think Compression & Avalon have those on lockdown as far as clubs go. |
well that's where Compression is moving too. and the artists Giant wants to bring in themselves....the same djs that were playing Cinespace as well. |

| this could be a really good call, especially if they bring some of the sick sick Minimal/Tech House DJ's |

I know, I read the article and I'm going to compression next week. :p
What I meant was, I can't see Giant doing any real underground bookings.
!= David Guetta != "Underground" |

i'm pretty sure they are more aware of 'underground' djs than you would think. but their business model at Vanguard obviously is to book the commercial djs that can pack them main room. and realistically, if its Robtronik/Compression or say Droog or Giant themselves that brings them in, does it really matter who actually booked them? not really IMO. |

Not saying it does. I'm just saying that there isn't much underground left for them to bring. I'm fine with them not trying to get into an area that really isn't their forté. |

gotcha. i would imagine you may see some of the same djs that Avalon has been booking on Sat nites or for the Spider Room now play their new venue... we shall see how it all pans out. more competition can only be a good thing.... |

| Could be cool. I like the idea of two separate clubs connected, can't wait. Dave may be able to pull this one off :) He'll need some awesome promoters that really have their ear to the music in terms of "underground" though. |
