CRAZY CHOICE! He's not an obvious protagonist... VERY interesting cribs! I didnt know/realize you read fantasy novels, let alone Dragonlance.

I never like Raistlin much... but the perpetual conflict he seemed to be in w/ himself (is he evil or good... or both) and the perpetual wonderings of everyone in the series (save for his brother of course who never doubted he was good... err maybe not until he switched robes, changed even more and became like a god with all his power), and us the reader too :p

I also liked the Kender, Tasslehof. Tannis was kinda boring IMO.

Need to read this series sometime soon. It NEEDS to be put on my list. /end of story.

Another I'd add, for those who have read the work of DAVID (& LEAH) EDDINGS...

SPARHAWK!!!!!

C'mon... what an awesome character/hero/protagonist/knight!!!

SO good... i want to re-read those two series... but especially THE TAMULI (the 2nd one)... thats my favourite series David Eddings ever wrote.

--

And I'm adding a new one, too...

JAIME LANNISTER... bc I guess by the later end of this series (that is out so far)... he is turning into an honourable character, no longer the sinister piece of honourless he has been for the entirely of his life up to this point. :D

Series is: A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE... author: George R. R. Martin.

I wonder if this movie will be one of those kiddie movies like the Princess Bride that you know it's kinda corny, but you can't help loving it
