Well... I simply jumped right into it... I put it at a lower volume that I was comfortable with... I could still hear the people chattering/walking upstairs, and my computer's hum... I still scored at a 59% (above average -- statistics according to other results), and was able get correct answers on the last few tone differences. I should take this test again under better circumstances.

I took it again and it says that I can reliably differentiate two tones 1.35 hz apart; one semitone being 30hz (it says I'm not exceptional, but very good... second best).

Less than 0.75: Exceptional ear
Less than 1.5: Very good
Less than 6: normal
Less than 12: Low-normal
Greater than 16: Possible Pitch Perception Deficit

I also got 80% on the rhythm one.
