I've already videoed PVD @ GUV and will be editing it. Then I thought of something cool. Wouldn't it be great if as much ppl sent me the originals of their cell phones vids. I would put them all together in one compilation video. What I could do is that if any of the videos overlapped, I could arrange it that they fade in and out picture-in-picture style so that you would possibly see the same segment from different angles. I could put the names of each contributor under each video, or at the end. I haven't decided.
Would you like to try this out. I'll set up massive emailing abilities on my account as well as a FTP to my server.
What I'm doing is assigning each person a username and password so that the folder you upload to is your own and no one elses. This is to protect the property of each user from the other.
Please note that when submitting videos to check that your times aren't messed up. Some have forgotten about DST. One user was 1hr and 6min off. Check your devices' time with the real time to see what the variance is. This make it easier to line up the videos on the timeline in the editing software.
